Legoman Adventures
These are the Legoman's Adventures...
Central Pooch
This is Lilly, a nice poodle in Central Park. She and her owner allowed for my shenanigans and helped with the series. They were a really good sports about it and we had a good laugh as we tried to get Lilly to stay still long enough. My son really liked this one, Thanks Lilly and random lady!
Building Bricks
While his co-workers chuckled at the situation, this construction worker paused from his work for a moment to allow me to snap his picture. It took a little encouragement, but I explained that no NYC lego series would be complete without a picture of one of NYC's builders. He couldn't argue with that logic.
Rafael
After visiting B&H, I stopped in a deli and randomly met this cool cat, Rafael. We quickly became friends and chatted it up for a while before parting ways. Thankfully we live a global society and social media allows for friendships to continue, despite 1,000 miles. Thanks for the memories, Rafael!
Doorman
One of the cool things about this experience is that you meet interesting people. For example this guy, who I spoke to for about 20 minutes. He moved to NYC about 20-30 years ago (I don't recall the full details) from a small jungle village in South America. What an change that must have been moving to NYC.
I'd imagine that his story is not too dissimilar to others who came to make a life in the 'Big Apple'.
